Founded in 1972, the Vietnamese Association, Toronto (VAT) developed from a volunteer-based socialization group to a non-profit multi-service agency. VAT provides settlement and adaptation services to immigrants and helps them integrate and participate successfully in Canadian society. VAT is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Ontario Trillium Foundation, New Horizons for Seniors Program and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
