VIVA Gala 2012
Envision an evening of grandeur and spectacles beyond the events you have attended prior to this very night. Growing upon the anticipation and excitement from last year’s Vietnamese Innovators & Visionaries Awards (VIVA) Gala, we once again bring to you a night to remember and never to be missed.
VIVA Gala is very special because it marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese Association, Toronto. As such, we will be giving out two types of awards this year to honour the occasion. There will be four VIVA Legacy Awards to recognize Vietnamese individuals who have achieved greatness that will set the foundation for the future success of our community. We will also have the VIVA Next Gen Awards - which will celebrate the next generation of Viet leaders that are already doing amazing things and bringing pride to the Vietnamese community right now.
All proceeds raised from the Gala will help to fund the Len Duong Leadership Camp and the First Step Camp, which are Vietnamese youth development camps for our youth. The First Step Camp will provide an opportunity for Vietnamese high school students with great potential and from all walks of life including underprivileged youth, to attend the summer camp.
This evening will also highlight the extraordinary talent of Vietnamese and local performers amidst the backdrop of luxury and splendor that is the Apollo Convention Centre. Here you will have the opportunity to dine on exquisite food and of course there are always surprises around the corner.
Dinner will commence at 7:00 pm
6591 Innovator Drive, Mississauga, Ontario
